I am originally from Southern California and I have recently joined the Fine Arts faculty at University of Louisville as the Term Assistant Professor in Ceramics and Fibers. Previously, I was living and working in Northern California as an Art Lab Technician and Adjunct Professor. I am a 2019 graduate from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln with my Masters of Fine Arts in Art focusing on ceramics. I received my Bachelors of Fine Arts in Ceramics from California State University Long Beach in the spring of 2015. I have worked in clay and fibers since a young age and I use both mediums within my work.

By creating relationships between various elements, I explore my fascination with material qualities and processes. The resulting works are compositions of material, color and form which become entangled in process, thought, tactility and emotion. This work has been exhibited at the Kimmel Harding Nelson Center for the Arts, The National Council on Education for the Ceramic Arts, and The Epperson Gallery.
